DISCLAIMER
All marriages should be registered with the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages ("the BDM"). The UMA is able to, at the request of the parties, register a marriage. Should the parties choose to not provide the UMA with the authority to register their marriage on their behalf, then the parties agree to register their marriage themselves directly with the BDM. The parties also agree to indemnify the UMA with respect to any issues that arise from the parties' failure to register their marriage with the BDM.
As a requirement for the Islamic marriage contract there must be an Islamic recognized proxy(wali) for the bride and two Muslim male witnesses.
The parties agree that they are entering into this marriage contract of their own free will and forever indemnify the UMA from all liability or losses that may result from this marriage. The UMA is only a facilitator of conducting the marriage ceremony and bears no responsibility for the parties' decision to proceed with the marriage contract.
